Frequently Asked Questions:

How Does "Water Fed Pole" Cleaning Work?

The “water fed pole” system uses long, lightweight telescopic poles to reach your windows, so we no longer need to use ladders for most jobs. Specialist soft brushes at the end of the pole brush the windows and loosen dirt and dust, and a constant flow of purified and deionised water flowing through the brush washes the dirt away.

Because the water is 100% pure and there are no detergents or chemicals used, the glass dried naturally to a streak free finish – and because there’s no sticky detergent residue left behind the windows often stay clean for longer!

What Areas Do You Cover?

We offer services in Newcastle, North Shields, North Tyneside, Wallsend, Tynemouth, Whitley Bay, Gosforth, Wideopen, Ponteland, Morpeth, Gateshead and the North East.

How Much Does It Cost?

We have window cleaning services starting at just £10 per clean for regular customers!

We can often give a rough price over the phone – but  because every house is different we need to see the property to give a fixed price. We are happy to call to your home next time we’re in the area and give you a quotation – free of charge and no obligation!

Can You Reach My 2nd Floor Windows?

Yes! Using our high reach pure-water cleaning system we can reach up to 60′ high without ladders or cherry pickers!

Are You Insured?

Yes! We carry full public liability insurance for our peace of mind as well as yours. We’re happy to supply a copy of our documents on request.*Please note however we will not be liable for any damage caused to or caused by loose, faulty or already damaged items.

Does Pure Water Cleaning Leave Spots Or Streaks?

Not if it’s done right!

Pure water cleaning takes some training an a lot of practice to achieve consistently good results, and unfortunately some people think that the system doesn’t work after bad experiences with “splash and dash” cleaners.

All our staff are properly trained and have the experience needed to make sure they produce perfect results every time. In the unlikely event that there is a problem, just call us within 48 hours and we’ll re-clean the affected areas free of charge.

Do You Work In The Rain?

Unfortunately our bills have to be paid even when the weather is bad, so occasionally we have to work in light rain.

Because our cleaning system is chemical free, rain water does not affect the finish – but we offer the same guarantee in the rain that we do any other day. If you’re not 100% happy just let us know within 48 hours and we’ll re-clean the affected windows free of charge.

If your question isn’t answered above, please don’t hesitate to contact K2 Window Cleaning on 0758 409 0508 or 0191263 6648 or via our Contact Form to find out more.
